Pompey and Pitufo

I was hanging out with Tex's mom the other day and she was recalling a chat Pompey had had with TexDad. And how later he had commented that Pompey is the real deal. I think many misjudge my husband based on his rather dapper and conservative appearance. Some people have to do certain things for their jobs ya know...but inside, he is the most true servant and warrior for the gospel of really anybody I know. Like seriously, the man has no fear nor qualms about dieing for his faith. Scares me if I really think about it so, moving on...
He is the real deal and I am so proud of him and all that he does to provide for us and to fulfill his call and passion and those jobs are not always one and the same. He truly sacrifices every day and I am very thankful.
Martha is proud.
Pitufo has taken to drawing maps. He has a little notepad and he will commandingly announce to one of us, "ToDAY, YOU go...uhh...ahhhhh...(as he flips pages)...HERE. To WALMART (big surprise?)" and he then points to the map/drawing and shows you which way to drive your car and turn to get there. Funny because we look at maps at home but never have we ever actually used one in the car or out walking. Now, in Madrid, yes, never left home with out a metro map on me, but here, no. His technical brain is so so fascinating.
I always think and muse of amazing musings when I am in the car and then when I have a fleeting dash of a moment before I am off to work out I can't ever think of anything quite as clever and captivating as I do when I am alone with my thoughts on the highway...
oh well...it's the thought that counts, right?
