So busy,quick update

SO much is going on with the Littles. Every day is such a joy and adventure. I find myself laughing more than gritting my teeth day in and day out with all that we do and face. Are you shocked? Yes, bff and I chat all the time about how some days the overwhelmingness of it all made me just cringe when they ALL woke up at once BEFORE I had coffee. Nowadays though, they are sleeping a bit later, I am not drinking so much coffee but working out more instead, and they kind of get up in shifts and RUN to our room and jump in our bed for a snuggle and chat before the day gets started and I absolutely love it.
Tiny has been dubbed Luke Kneewalker. He is 18 months now and not walking per se but walking quite adeptly on his knees. He can stand and cruise the furniture, balance at a stand for more than 20 seconds, even go to a stand from downward dog. So we are getting there. He chatters so much. Asks questions, answers questions, names stuff...his verbal skills are amazing. He builds towers of 3 and more blocks and LOVES to be read to, especially if the book involves animals or Elmo.
Pitufo is soaring at speech therapy. We play "Can you hear my sound?" for hard ending sounds and the ssssss sound and he is even starting to tack some ending sounds onto words on his own. His articulation is much improved, I wasn't anticipating such marked improvement so soon. His vocab is still ginormous and we all understand him just fine but now others are too. He has matured majorly in the last few weeks. Gone are the meltdowns and sad teary tantrums and he is spending way less time going to his room to find his happy heart. I love his sensitive side and nurturing/tempering that has been very challenging. I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit who leads me/us in parenting three VERY different personality types three very different ways. I always thought you just had an MO as a parent but this is not true. Not for us anyways. Pitufo requires a gentle touch. Even in firmness and discipline we must be gentle so as not to crush him. He is wired so much like me that it is easy and challenging all at the same time. I know I have said this before but I feel like I get to do what was done wrong with me right. A second chance at a tender heart...
Notorious is SOOO BIG!! So ready for first grade. Asks me almost every day if it is first grade YET!!?? Too much Junie B Jones I think. He has lost both his top teeth and with his curly mop is just too adorable. He is reading well, amazing for kindergarten, doing double digit math, and drawing some really impressive pictures of his friends and dinosaurs and lizards. He is collecting rocks and we have filled three apothecary jars full of them. Paleontology is his thing so we are constantly searching for fossils and other preserved animal life. His teacher is back Glory Hallelujah and the academics and discipline ensued with a vengeance upon her return. Things seem so orderly and the work that is coming home is impressive. He took her some of my scones today and she sent me an email saying thank you and that she had never liked scones before she had mine!! Cool thing was, it was B-I-G's idea to take them . He has such a sweet and giving heart. He has even decided who he is going to marry. Her name is Heather and she has long blond hair and is a sweet little doll. Comes from a great family so we told him we approve as long as he graduates college first. She is the oldest of 5 so I think a good match for him.
Pompey is travelling and teaching like crazy and loving it. A lot of good things are on the horizon as far as job and life goes so for that we are thankful.
Still raising support to go to Madrid. A matter of faith and prayer...
I think that pretty much covers it. Tiny has fully earned his name Mr Destructo and I don't get much writing time when his eyes are open because he is unloading and opening and climbing and pulling and touching and pushing whatever he can get his fat little hands on.
And I wouldn't have it any other way...
